last night i went to a party in astoria. i justified taking a cab there and back because i wasn't going to spend any money on drinks. $48 lighter, and after having to deal with a car-sick fellow passenger, i think i would've rather bought drinks. another reminder of why i moved away from astoria...

the cabbies were really nice, though. and didn't give me any beef about having to go to astoria.
